I founded MVP in Performance with one goal in mind: providing high-quality, high performing programs and services to ensure everyone can find ways to be a better coach, leader or athlete. My passion for sport and coaching  has driven me to share the knowledge I have gained with as many people as possible. 

BIO

Experienced High Performance Coach Kylee Byrne, has over 20 years’ knowledge coaching elite netball programs and teams. Byrne was awarded the coveted role of the Australian 21 and Under Netball Coach with the aim to bring home the gold medal at the 2021 World Youth Championships.

 

At the conclusion of the 2019 Suncorp Super Netball League, Byrne was promoted to Head Coach of Sunshine Coast Lightning after playing a pivotal role in Lightning’s 2017 and 2018 Premierships and 2019 Grand Final as Assistant Coach. In her first season in the role, she led Lightning to finish second to qualify for their fourth consecutive finals’ series. Byrne then backed up that finals campaign with another final's appearance in the Suncorp Super Netball League in 2021.

 

Previous to her role on the Sunshine Coast, Byrne was Netball Queensland’s Elite Development Coach, where she oversaw the state’s program to identify and develop the next generation of netballers. Byrne has also held coaching positions with Queensland Firebirds, Queensland Fusion, Australian Institute of Sport and Netball Australia.

 

Byrne has also held management positions in Commercial and Marketing roles where her passion of partnering people, communities and businesses comes together.
